What school did you attend? I attended Turton High School
What college did you go to and what did you study?
I went to Blackburn College and studied paint spraying and mechanics.
Do you have a job/volunteer and if so can you tell us about it?
I undertook a work placement at Tesco as a customer assistant in 2011. I have previously held a volunteering post as an assistant engineer in 2013.
What are you doing at the moment?
I attend Smart Enterprise on the Enterprise and Employability Programme and I will be starting a course with the Princes Trust.
How does your disability affect your everyday life?
I sometimes get distracted from tasks and find it difficult to concentrate.
What are your aspirations for the future?
Get a job, hopefully something to do with cars, like a mechanic or I would like to work in a warehouse.
What are your favourite hobbies and pastimes?
I enjoy many Sports including football, cricket, American football, swimming and watching TV.
Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with, and relates to, other people. It also affects how they make sense of the world around them.
Asperger syndrome is a form of autism. People with Asperger syndrome are often of average or above average intelligence. They have fewer problems with speech but may still have difficulties with understanding and processing language.
